This new cable system (UniCable) offers you the opportunity to use existing star or ring distributors in the house. UniCable is a process for distribution of satellite television. Several receivers can be connected to a single discharge, something that with conventional satellite systems (Satblock distribution) is not possible. Another advantage compared to conventional single-cable with limited number of programs: at UniCable the full program spectrum is available. To sustain the UniCable system, a Quattro LNB is required.The connected receiver must support UniCable technology. In the basic installation, up to 8 receivers can be connected to a system. It does not matter whether they are distributed in series or with a satellite distribution to multiple lines.
