Niederlauer. Every year at the end of August, the Caravan Salon attracts numerous visitors to Düsseldorf for ten days. The focus: product innovations from all areas of camping as a form of holiday. Megasat, one of the leading manufacturers of satellite technology and accessories in Germany and Europe, also presented new and further developed products: The Camper Connected LTE-Wifi system ensures interference-free internet reception, the Royal Line III and Royal Line III Smart guarantee an improved TV experience, while the Caravanman 65/85 can be controlled via smartphone or tablet thanks to the Bluetooth module.
New: Camper Connected LTE Wifi System
From January 2022, there will be no more poor internet reception when travelling: The new Megasat Camper Connected LTE WiFi system combines a powerful outdoor unit with an equally powerful router. Many of our customers had the problem on the road that the internet connection in the vehicle was either very poor or even interrupted. Surfing or TV streaming was out of the question. The Camper Connected LTE WiFi system amplifies the radio signal inside the vehicle. This ensures internet reception in the usual WLAN quality," explains Harald Langer, Sales Manager Camping at Megasat. The Camper Connected LTE-Wifi system will be available from January 2022 at a price of EUR 399.
TV Experience 3.0: Royal Line III and Royal Line III Smart
After introducing the Royal Line II and the first Smart TV series last year, Megasat presented the next generation of the popular TV sets with the "Royal Line III" as well as the "Royal Line III Smart". "Many users still prefer the conventional TV sets without Internet access. That is why we have further developed both series. The sets are now equipped with the latest technology and a faster operating system. The smart TV sets also have Android 9.0," explains Harald Langer.
The Royal Line III is now available in four sizes:
19 inch: 299,- Euro
22 inch: 349,- Euro

The Royal Line III Smart will be available from January 2022:

Caravanman 65/85 V2 with Bluetooth control
The Caravanman 65/85 Premium and Professional are particularly popular with film and series lovers. No wonder, because thanks to their large dish the antennas ensure an excellent radio and television experience even with weak radio signals. Fans of the antenna should be all the more pleased about the further development presented at the Caravan Salon: from January 2022, the Caravanman Premium 65 V2, the Caravanman Premium 85 V2 and the Caravanman Professional V2 GPS will be equipped with the "Smart IDU" control unit with integrated Bluetooth module. Campers will then be able to conveniently control the antenna via their smartphone or tablet. Updates to Firmware can also be easily uploaded via the app.

Personal contact will remain important in the future
Despite all the support from the internet and online meetings, it also became clear again in Düsseldorf how important personal contact with customers and interested parties is. "Many caravanning enthusiasts want to see SAT antennas and TVs in person and have the opportunity to ask specific questions. This year we were once again able to advise many visitors at our stand, which makes us very happy. There is no substitute for a personal exchange with customers and interested parties," says Harald Langer.
