Niederlauer. Every year at the end of August, the Caravan Salon attracts numerous visitors to Düsseldorf for ten days. The focus: new products from all aspects of the camping holiday. Megasat, one of the leading manufacturers of satellite technology and accessories in Germany and Europe, also presented new and enhanced products: The Camper Connected LTE Wi-Fi system ensures uninterrupted internet reception, the Royal Line III and Royal Line III Smart guarantee an improved TV experience, and the Caravanman 65/85 can be controlled via smartphone or tablet thanks to its Bluetooth module.
New: Camper Connected LTE WiFi system
Starting in January 2022, poor internet reception while traveling will be a thing of the past: The new Megasat Camper Connected LTE Wi-Fi system combines a powerful outdoor unit with an equally powerful router. This amplifies the wireless signal and ensures uninterrupted internet reception. "Many of our customers experienced problems with their vehicle's internet connection being either very poor or even interrupted while traveling. Surfing the web or streaming TV was out of the question. The Camper Connected LTE Wi-Fi system amplifies the wireless signal into the vehicle interior, ensuring internet reception with the usual Wi-Fi quality," explains Harald Langer, Head of Camping Sales at Megasat. The Camper Connected LTE Wi-Fi system will be available starting in January 2022 for EUR 399.
TV Experience 3.0: Royal Line III and Royal Line III Smart
Following the introduction of the Royal Line II and the first Smart TV series last year, Megasat unveiled the next generation of its popular televisions with the "Royal Line III" and the "Royal Line III Smart." "Many users still prefer conventional televisions without internet access. That's why we've further developed both series. The devices are now equipped with the latest technology and a faster operating system. The Smart TVs also feature Android 9.0," explains Harald Langer.
The Royal Line III is now available in four sizes:
19 inches: 299 euros
22 inches: 349 euros
24 inches: 379 euros
32 inches: 449 euros
The Royal Line III Smart will be available from January 2022:
19 inches: 369 euros
22 inches: 399 euros
24 inches: 429 euros
32 inches: 499 euros
The optional feet are available at a recommended retail price of 14,90 euros.
Caravanman 65/85 V2 with Bluetooth control
The Caravanman 65/85 Premium and Professional are particularly popular with film and TV enthusiasts. This is no surprise, as thanks to their large mirrors, the antennas ensure an excellent radio and television experience even in weak radio signals. Fans of the antenna will therefore be all the more pleased with the further development presented at the Caravan Salon: From January 2022, the Caravanman Premium 65 V2, the Caravanman Premium 85 V2, and the Caravanman Professional V2 GPS will be equipped with the "Smart IDU" control unit with integrated Bluetooth module. Campers can then conveniently control the antenna via their smartphone or tablet. Firmware updates can also be easily installed via the app.
The Caravanman 65/85 V2 will be available from January 2022 in four versions:
Caravanman 65 Premium V2, RRP, 1299,00 euros
Caravanman 65 Professional GPS V2, RRP 1499,00 euros
Caravanman 85 Premium V2, RRP 1399,00 euros

Personal contact will remain important in the future
Despite all the support provided by the internet and online meetings, it became clear again in Düsseldorf how important personal contact with customers and prospective customers is. "Many caravanning enthusiasts want to view satellite dishes and televisions in person and have the opportunity to ask specific questions. This year, we were once again able to advise many visitors at our stand, which we are very pleased about. There's no substitute for personal interaction with customers and prospective customers," says Harald Langer.
