Niederlauer. Every year at the end of August Düsseldorf is the hub of the caravanning world. Megasat will be presenting its wide range of products to the public in Hall 13, Stand E25. The Franconian specialist for satellite technology and accessories will show, among other things, further developments of the successful antenna models Traveller Man, Campingman Kompakt and Caravanman Kompakt. New is also the Traveller-Kit, a camping satellite system in a robust transport case.

Traveller-Man 2: Fixed installation or mobile use - both are possible

presented in Düsseldorf last year, the Traveller-Man quickly developed into a bestseller. The antenna for fixed installation on the vehicle convinces with its flat design and excellent reception performance in almost all of Europe. In the future, even more campers are likely to opt for this model, because the Traveller-Man Two is going mobile. For this purpose, Megasat has added the mobile kit to its range, consisting of a base plate with four robust aluminium feet. The Mobil-Kit is simply placed under the mounting plate of the Traveller-Man 2 screwed. This allows the antenna to stand flexibly in the best position while the vehicle is parked in the shade under trees. Of course the fixed installation is still possible. Technically changes with the Traveller-Man 2 nothing - also the price remains constant at 1.199,- Euro The mobile kit is available for 99.90 euros.

Campingman Kompakt 2: Improved control unit and more satellites receivable

With a significantly improved control unit and a modified design compared to the previous model, Megasat presents the permanently mountable antenna Campingman Kompakt 2. the number of receivable satellites increases by two to ten, instead of a flat antenna, an offsetdish antenna is now installed inside. The setup remains pleasantly simple: At the push of a button, the fully automatic antenna finds the factory-programmed satellites. The Campingman Kompakt 2 is still available as a singleVersion version for one subscriber or as a twin version for connecting two TV sets. The antennas are available at prices of 1,199 and 1,399 euros respectively.

Caravanman Kompakt 2: New mechanics, changed design

The flat design of only 17 centimetres when folded makes the Caravanman Kompakt 2 is a popular companion for owners of higher vehicles. The high reception performance and easy connection of the compact, fully automatic antenna are also top-notch. The successor will be available at dealerships in January 2020 with new, improved mechanics and slightly modified design. Also the Caravanman Kompakt 2 is available as single and twinVersion, the prices are 1.199,- and 1.299,- Euro respectively.

Traveller-Kit: Mobile satellite system in robust transport case

The new Traveller-Kitone from Megasat promises maximum flexibility. The outwardly inconspicuous but extremely robust transport case contains a mobile satellite system with a wide range of mounting options. The 40 x 35 centimetres large dishcase can be attached to smooth (vehicle) surfaces using the new triple suction foot, which has a tractive force of up to 120 kilograms, as well as to masts or walls - appropriate brackets are included in the scope of delivery. A single LNB, a coaxial cable, matching F-connectors and detailed assembly instructions complete the set, which will be available in stores from January 2020 at a price of 99 euros.

On tour: All new products on test drive through Croatia

Before Megasat launches new devices on the market, the company subjects its products to extensive tests in everyday operation. In addition to general functions, the focus is particularly on the reception performance of the satellite systems: in which regions can television reception be provided without problems and where is it becoming critical? Previous test runs have taken the company to Spain, Portugal, the North Cape and as far as southern Italy, this year it is going to Croatia in the eastern part of Europe. Megasat boss Sven Melzer personally undertook the latest tour and put all equipment through its paces. All test results are published by Megasat in a brochure, which will be available at the Caravan Salon.
