The image signals are transmitted completely wirelessly. Install the camera anywhere. The only requirement is a power supply. Because the camera is specially designed to withstand the elements, it can also be used outdoors. Whether day or night, the camera is always ready for use and offers a wireless range of up to 300 meters (without obstructions).
Note: Obstacles such as walls, ceilings or metal structures can reduce the reception of Wi-Fi signals.
The camera system also allows integration into your home or business network. Use the included network adapter to connect the monitor and the internet router via a LAN cable. Then download the corresponding app for iOS or Android onto your mobile device. The image is transmitted to mobile devices via Wi-Fi directly through your internet router. Another transmission option is via your phone provider's mobile network. An internet-enabled smartphone is required.
Video recording is done via an SD card (up to 256 GB) that is inserted into the side of the monitor. Alternatively, a 2,5-inch hard drive can be installed. The surveillance monitor can manage up to four cameras. Recordings can be individually programmed for each camera (continuously, according to a schedule, or via motion detector).
The camera's night vision range is up to 10 meters and can therefore detect people even at night or twilight.
Thanks to its IP66 protection class, the camera is also suitable for outdoor use and is protected against strong water jets and the ingress of dust.
