A multiswitch allows you to receive multiple satellites simultaneously via a coaxial cable. One LNB is required per satellite. It doesn't matter whether the second LNB is installed on the same satellite dish (multifeed) or on a separate dish. The signals are bundled by the multiswitch and forwarded to the connected receivers.
