Fast and reliable signal search

The HD 7 Combo satellite meter can measure television and radio signals. It offers precise measurements for satellite, cable, and terrestrial television (including DVB-T2 HD). The DAB/DAB+ measurement also allows digital radio measurements. The entire housing is made of robust, high-quality aluminum and features an integrated 8,9-inch color touchscreen display. As a small highlight, an LED light is mounted on the back of the housing for calibrating the system even in low-light conditions. Operation is child's play thanks to the clear and well-structured menu. All measurement functions are easily accessible and virtually self-explanatory.

Large signal level display and live TV playback

To align a mirror, first check the signal level and quality. You can switch these to a larger display by pressing the magnifying glass icon to make the most of the display.

The meter features a built-in receiver for live TV picture checks. It supports playback of all free-to-air digital channels in SD, HD, and UHD. Furthermore, a pre-installed channel list with the most popular programs is included, which you can customize to your needs. Should channels or frequencies change, you can search for them using the menu.

Spectrum and constellation analysis

To assess the satellite system's signal and analyze any reception errors, use spectrum analysis. You'll find errors faster and can quickly adjust the satellite system for the best possible reception.
Constellation analysis provides a further perspective on satellite reception to assess the signal and eliminate sources of error. You can immediately see whether the signal is arriving in a focused or scattered manner. Furthermore, additional measurement data such as dBm, CNR, and BER can be displayed on the screen.

Angle calculation, compass and satellite detection for quick alignment

The integrated compass and angle calculator help you determine the vertical and horizontal angle of the antenna, as the elevation and azimuth vary depending on the location. Simply enter the location data, and the meter quickly calculates the appropriate angle settings for the dish. This makes it easier to find the desired satellite.

With automatic satellite detection (NIT), you'll instantly see which satellite you're on. Minutes of alignment attempts are a thing of the past.

Power battery and lots of accessories

The integrated rechargeable battery provides up to 4 hours of operation. It can be charged with a standard 230V power supply or with the included car charger adapter. The included protective case with carrying strap protects the measuring device from dirt and splashes. Save the measurement data to a USB stick for later analysis. The program list can also be exported and future firmware updates installed via USB.
