Power over Ethernet (PoE)
The PoE switch is ideal when there is no power line available at the camera installation location. Data and power are transmitted via the LAN cable. This allows for cost-effective and easy network installation or expansion. The power supply of all devices is automatically adjusted and is compatible with many IEEE standards. LAN ports are available for up to 8 PoE-enabled cameras (max. 30 watts per port). Non-PoE-enabled devices still require their own power supply.
